Private Beta Terms

1. Beta Program Nature

This is a pre-release, private beta of the Pieces & Parts marketplace platform. The service is provided for testing, feedback, and product development purposes only.

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
• No uptime or availability guarantees are provided
• This is not a public marketplace — there is no consumer traffic
• No live payment processing or real transactions during beta

2. Design Partner Role

As a Design Partner, you are invited to:

• Create draft product listings for testing purposes
• Provide feedback on workflows, features, and user experience
• Help shape the product before public launch
• Test onboarding and seller tools

Your participation helps us build a better marketplace. In exchange, Design Partners receive early access and priority placement consideration at launch.

3. No Live Commerce

During the beta period:

• No real customer orders will be processed
• No payments will be collected from buyers
• No payouts will be issued to sellers
• Product listings are for testing only and are not publicly visible

4. Your Responsibilities

You represent and agree that:

• You own or have rights to any products, images, or content you upload
• You are responsible for your own business compliance (licenses, permits, taxes)
• You will not list prohibited items (illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, etc.)
• Information you provide is accurate and truthful
• You will keep your account credentials secure

5. Confidentiality

While we don't require a formal NDA, we ask that you:

• Keep beta features and roadmap discussions private
• Don't publicly announce or screenshot unreleased features
• Direct press or partnership inquiries to us first

6. Access & Termination

Beta access is provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the beta program at any time
• Remove or suspend access for any reason
• Delete test data, listings, or accounts
• Change these terms with notice to participants

7. Limitation of Liability

The beta service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pieces & Parts is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the beta, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

8. Data & Privacy

We collect information necessary to operate the beta, including:

• Account information (name, email, business details)
• Product listings and images you create
• Usage data and feedback
• Technical logs (IP addresses, browser info)

We use this data solely for operating and improving the platform. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by Pieces & Parts to improve the product without compensation or attribution.
